The Omaha Tribe operates several businesses within the Omaha Indian Reservation as a means to supplement governmental revenues for funding important services, to provide employment opportunities for tribal members, and to serve the needs of the community

Blackbird Bend Corporation

The Omaha Tribe chartered the tribally-owned Blackbird Bend Corporation in 2009 to provide an independent entity for management and operation of the Omaha Tribe’s gaming enterprises. Those enterprises include Blackbird Bend Casino near Onawa, Iowa, and Lucky 77 Casino in Walthill, Nebraska.

Omaha Nation Farms, LLC
The Omaha Tribe organized the majority tribally-owned Omaha Nation Farms, LLC in 2007 to provide a vehicle to farm the Tribe’s crop lands and improve interested tribal members’ farming skills.

Omaha Nation C-Store, LLC
The Omaha Tribe organized the tribally-owned Omaha Nation C-Store, LLC in 2012 to provide an independent entity for management and operation of the convenience store in Macy.

Omaha Nation Construction, Inc.
The Omaha Tribe incorporated the tribally-owned Omaha Nation Construction, Inc. to manage select construction projects on the Omaha Indian Reservation.
